absolutely nothing !!!

My family and I flew in from Cape Town to attend a funeral and booked this property according to the pictures given on bookings.com . unfortunately it was nothing close to the picture advertised. when we got there the house was rundown and furniture was broken, walls damaged , dust everywhere and just untidy. the garden was not maintained at all and we even spotted a snake on the patio. We where extremely unhappy when we arrived . The neighbour stopped us before we could leave and complained that the housekeeper that stays alone at the property while the owners stay in Jhb,actually has parties during the weekdays which gets out of control. When we got hold of the owner Zahra, and sent all the pictures of the property she was shocked at the state of the property and was unaware of what was happening. We asked for a full refund and had to look elsewhere for accommodation that night, which was extremely inconvenient and frustrating to do last minute, we had small kids travelling with us. The owner Zahra, did agree to the full refund of R10 000. She said it would take about 10 working days as she has to wait for bookings.com to pay her first. March 9th will be 3 months and I still didn’t receive my money. I’ve sent her many messages asking for updates and always got excuses. I’ve spoken to bookings.com about it and they couldn’t reach her over email. I find this very frustrating and upsetting that nothing is getting done. I’ve got records of the conversations between Zahra and I and all the pictures of the property and STILL can’t get my money back! How is this right!! All I can take from this is that the owner Zahra is a very dishonest lady , it seems like she’s a scammer.

Only the sea views

The view was beautiful either than that the place was filthy .Linen was never changed since we arrived .TV was not working since we arrived .4 days later and still not working .Had to clean the place myself as the place was not cleaned when I arrived .Aircon was not working .Too many people entering the property during my stay.Pipes were leaking in the bathroom.Foul smell was coming from the other bathroom .Entire place ended up smelling like a sewage.Doors were not closing properly as locks were rusty.With the price that I paid it was not value for money

No tv place was dirty and a bad smelling 3 guys were having the gate keys they come in and took pictures so for me it was not safe

The place is beautiful but it's very dirty. Even the garden not done
