Giraffe plains

Property was in great condition, we were greeted on our first day by zebras which Anton had provided pallets for them. All the amenities were in good condition the owner contacted us during our stay to check in on us which we appreciated we let him know if anything was not up to standard. The Kruger was not far away and many animals were in the vicinity of Marloth park.

Everything was fine,

We loved watching the animals pass whilst we were in the swimming pool. The house is well equipped and it had all we needed to have a relaxing break.

Going home.

I’ve been in Marloth times 4 times and the location of this house in the park beats all others (and the others were great also)! We were visited by Giraffe, Kudu, Warthog, Mongools, Bushbabies, Impala,… what a place to be!!

It’s perfect gate-away surrounded by nature. We could not expect more. The daily service on the unit was quite good. However during busy the periods, the grid in the area gets overload leading to power outage, nevertheless it was a joy and a lot of curious animals. Particularly the mongoose. Not commenting the wildebeest that was our personal car guard.

It was great we enjoyed it closed to crocodile river. We saw alot of animals, giraffes, Springboks and other small animals. Swimming is the best clean and refreshing.

We had a fantastic stay at Giraffe Plains! The location is perfect—just a short drive to the Kruger gates. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the pool was clean and refreshing, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Anton was an incredible host—friendly, attentive, and always available to answer our questions. A special highlight was the welcome from the warthog family, which made our stay even more memorable! Highly recommend Giraffe Plains for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay near Kruger. We would definitely return!

The wildlife is truly magical—giraffes, zebras, and other animals come right up to greet you, making the stay unforgettable. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a few serene days, visit Kruger National Park, and fully immerse yourself in nature. Highly recommended for a peaceful and unique getaway

One small suggestion would be to add some rubber mats on the patio, as it can be a bit slippery

The house is clean, and very well located, close to the river. Well equipped with all needed utilities. The pool is great! Anton was very helpful and kind, but also gave us privacy. The host communicated well since the first moment.
