"Impromptu holiday"

Anton, the caretaker, was very helpful. The house itself had everything you needed to make yourself at home. The pool was just awesome. The location was perfect. Loved the peace and quiet at night. Also, the fact that animals roam freely was an added bonus.

"Would recommend Giraffe Plains & would probably go back again. Anton just makes the holiday easier."

Anton, the house keeper is a star. He went through everything, ensured we had pellets for the animals. He came in every day to clean, wash dishes & make the beds. The general outlay with the pool & braai were excellent.

The description on Booking..com says washing machine which is one of the reasons for taking the place but, Anon does the washing & for a fee. This to me was misleading info. The bed pillows are not great, would suggest getting new ones.

Lots of animals. Swimming pool. Nice deck. Aircon. Clean.

Stof does not work 100%. Blinds does not roll up or down. Couches to small to sit. TV does not work 100%. Needs more stations. Rooms need new bedding covers.

Fairly quiet, as was expected. The beds were comfortable.

The drainage of the water (especially the kitchen) spills onto the lawn leaving a smell
