Clear Communications with Owner. Most light fittings/ cupboards have name tags for instructions. Security cameras at front entrance. House is perfect for 4 couples or extended families or the business travel groups. Ample parking for at least 4 cars and a small recreational boat/ bush trailer. The entrance bridge and walk-in flow to the front seating room with the most spectacular view. 4 Bedrooms: 2 * double bed with en-suite bathrooms, and 2 * 2 quarter beds. All Rooms fitted with TV and extra blankets and patio/veranda area with small table and chairs. Top and bottom mezzanine have additional bathroom facilities. Lower deck: Good entertainment area with 10 seater table outside veranda with deck chairs and braai facility. Big kitchen and center cooking island. Small laundry room at back. Various Bird Life visiting the Deck : spotted three Knysna Lorries (~Tauraco corythaix).

The view over shadow any bad reviews yet the house could use some TLC : Garden lights need upgrade. New carpet in seating area, new veranda-deck chairs, good paint of varnish to the wooden deck. The kitchen crockery and cookware very basic (yet functional) - would like to have had some glass casserole and serving dishes. The entertainment area's silk plant palm trees need refurbishment. Some outside garden trees on sides of veranda needs pruning back for more view enjoyment.

Spacious Large bathrooms

The size of the home is huge, Eric was always available and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable, and the views were out of this world!

The house could do with a little TLC. Its positioning is absolutely prime, and with a little effort, the house could be exceptional 👌. Just a little attention to detail would make the world of difference! Fan in the main bedroom not working, drains in the bathroom blocked, just neaten the place up a bit and fix the outdoor furniture and fixtures and this place would be so much more appealing. Overall, we enjoyed our 3 night stay and just overlooked the faults. Eric is really welcoming and friendly, and communicating with him was easy.

The view

The house needs maintained and new carpets upstairs.

The location of this place was fantastic and views were unparalleled. Host was not in this country but tried to accommodate as best he could with amenities.

This house was not clean when we arrived and lacked basic utensils. The house is large and it was super dusty. The windows were not clean. It did not have blankets or heaters for the cold. The electricity kept tripping and our food in the fridge get defrosting or going off. The agent who took care of the house could only come at certain hours so most times we would wait. We waited for a while to get in to the house and when the electricity tripped we waited in the dark for a long time as well.

The view is SPECTACULAR from every room in the house. Every bedroom has its own verandah to chill and watch the waves break. The beds are very comfortable and the showers have great pressure.

The motor for the driveway gate and entrance to the property is broken. This needs a strong person to push open and close. The jacuzzi in the middle of the dining room is broken. The house is unfortunately under equipped. The kitchen utensils/serving dishes are very limited and not enough seating in the lounge and on the deck ( unless you use the camping chairs). The lounge suite and carpet have stains. All these negatives can however easily be corrected.
