Head In The Skye - Healabhal Cottage

Property sat overlooking a beautriful bay oin the west coast of Skye. There was stacks of room for 2 families (8 people). Cooking with the Aga was brilliant (did it in my shorts as was rather toasty). Having the seperat dining area and large cozy room with the log burner was brilliant. Had a couple of nights in the garden with the fire pit going and watching the incredible stars .. who knew there were so many stars inthe sky when you only ever see the night sky from the city!!! Great location to tour the island .. and the kids got to do a spot of fishing too

Unfortunately, whoever cleaned the property didnt bother to move the couch or chairs and we found old breafast ceral and broken glass under one. Couldnt stay for longer!!

Cozy cottage with a great view

The house had a lot of space and was comfortable. The house has GREAT views and we enjoyed seeing the water with our morning coffee. It was in a remote part of Skye, which we loved. Overall it was very comfortable, we had great instructions for getting into the house and a binder to give us the information we needed while we were there. We would stay there again.

It is an older house, so many of the doors did not close or stay shut all of the way. It was a minor thing, but something that maybe could be adjusted. We were only there a night and it was a little difficult to remove the trash the last day. We did not realize that we needed a key for the trash, we we took it with us when we left since it is a ways down the road. We had to back up, unlock the house to take the trash out and then drive up to lock the keys up again.

Lovely vibe, warm and comfortable perfect for what we needed

Superb location with wonderful views. Excellent accommodation with large, comfortable rooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great base for exploring Skye.

Can't think of anything which would have improved our stay.
