The amazing view!

The AGA cooker was good but too hot for us in the summer. So we would have loved some more cooking hobs.

This was a slice of heaven. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The views are unparalleled. We had the best vacation here ever and are already trying to figure out how we can repeat it next year. In this quiet corner we felt like we had the island all to ourselves. This is my favorite place we’ve ever stayed. It’s perfect when it’s sunny and you can enjoy the picnic tables out back, and it’s perfect when it’s raining and you can cozy up on one of the many couches and bask in the warmth of the AGA while you look out the many windows. Exceptional accommodations.

I loved everything about this property.

The view. The space in and outside the property. Comfortable beds. Storage good. We'll equipped kitchen. Easy access, good parking.

Ridiculously hot due to the aga and told not to turn it down or off. Didn't like the bench seats in the dining room. Complicated microwave to use. Sticking doors. Potentially dangerous cracked glass in the wood burner. Poor instructions for recycling. Constantly hitting hand on door panel due to round handles. Dining room/kitchen door threshold loose and trip hazard.

Wonderful house. Super comfortable and spacious. We had the most relaxing family holiday there with dogs and wee ones.

The view of the bay is simply stunning. Well-equipped kitchen with a fun cooker. Lots of space in the house for a big group (and kids). Very comfortable bedrooms. Well located on the Isle of Skye (30 minute drive from many highlights). It was simply put the very best accomodation we had on our trip, well worth the price! Thank you do much.

Amazing location and beautiful views.

We had no water or hot water for an entire day and night due to a issue on the island. While the hosts can’t be held responsible for such an issue, a kind visit to us with a supply of water so we could flush the toilets, wash our hands, cook, brush our teeth would have been greatly appreciated. Nothing was actioned by the host aside from an initial response to the query and a sent link to the Scottish Water website so we could monitor the situation on our own. Unfortunately, the onus was placed on us, the guests, to accommodate for this issue. While the hosts finally offered to refund a small amount to cover the only costs of some drinking water (we went out ourselves for), this was clearly a failure by the hosts to provide adequate accommodation to their paying guests, and a lesson indeed for future incidents such as what we experienced. We have requested a full refund for the day I question, but they have not done as such.

This property has a stunning location and is a lovely, spacious yet cosy home. the Aga was a joy to come back to after wonderful but chilly days exploring, the sitting room was spacious, and well equipped, the beds were warm and comfortable with beautiful views.
