Porto Antico

We liked simple everything - the house was cosy, newly reconstructed in a maritime style, every detail was well taken care. The owner was increadibly helpful, we never experienced such a hospitality. We could check in earlier, were picked up at the train station, got a ride along the promenade, Prosecco was in the fridge, we got a cute present at the end. We felt like in paradise.

We stayed in Porto Antico for 4 days. Upon arrival we were very warmly welcomed by the owner. We were shown around the apartment and went on a short tour of the nearest area where Andrea recommended local restaurants to us. The apartment is very clean and cosy. It is furnished by the owner himself, who took care of every detail. We went to Bari in February but I also recommend staying at this time. Heating/air conditioning is on each floor. We had to check out of the apartment at 6 o'clock but owner also came personally to say goodbye. I highly recommend this apartment. Me and my girlfriend were pleased. If we come back to Bari again, we will definitely stay in Porto Antico 😊

We had a wonderful week in Bari. Porto Antico was a perfect place to stay for us - the atmosphere of the old town was incredible and being able to live in the old fisherman's house made it even more appealing. The owner made a lot of effort to decorate the house with local art and fishermen's attributes. What is more there was a plenty things that made a stay very comfortable - extra chargers on both sides of the bed (suitable for different kinds of phone), umbrellas for the guests, guides in different languages or a toasts and jam for the breakfast. We could feel that someone is thinking about us and the details! Never then less we were welcomed with the sparkling wine chilled in the fridge and we got a birthday presents for a good bye from the Host (we were celebrating bday during the stay). All that made it a perfect stay!

The only watch out: the apartment is located on the 4 floors (each room on different level). For us it was not a problem but if you have difficulties to move up it can be a challenge.

we spend a very pleasant time in Andrea’s apartment. Everything was perfect, apartment decorated with love to every details, perfectly clean, in the morning we found everything for cooking our breakfast(there is a little cosy market with a local products just in 3 min from the apartment). And after long walking day we were happy to come back in this cosy apartment. And special tnx to Andrea, he took us from the railway station, recommended to us a lot of nice places ( all of them was really good), we felt welcomed🙏🤍 we want to come back))

I loved it all, the location, the balconies, the terrace with the view of the sea, the location in Bari Vecchia and proximity to Bari central, the charm and decor of the apartment,,I could go on.

The apartment (which is the whole house actually) is beautiful, clean and very well located. It was a sailor’s house in the past, as the owner told us, and is designed in this style. There is everything that is needed for a comfortable stay, there was even something for breakfast, a lot of coffee and basic ingredients for cooking. The balcony on the top floor is very nice and perfect for romantic evenings. The host Andrea is the nicest person! He picked us up by his car from the station on the day of arrival and took us to the station when we were leaving; he left us a bottle of wine and a basket full of fruits. He showed and told us everything and recommended very good restaurants. All in all, it was a perfect stay!

Great location in the heart of the Old Town, but on the quiet street. Equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Nice and very helpful host- it's good to follow Andrea' advices concerning the places to eat😃 Unexpected gift at the beginning - it was very nice. This is the place we will recommed for sure. And Bari is beautiful and worthy to visit.

Everything was super, the apartment is great, clean in a good location, the owner was very friendly, everything is fine.

Our host was absolutely perfect, responded to our messages quickly, supprised us with welcome and goodbye gift and gave us a ride to the station. He was very friendly and his house was clean and comfy. Thank you !

The location is very good, in historical city center, very near to restaurants. The owners are very polite and helpful, we received some welcome gifts (fresh fruits, prosecco etc), also they offered to take us with the car from station. The apartment is equiped with everything you need - from coffee machine, boiler, bathroom products, hair dryer to candles on balcony for romantic a atmosphere.

Nothing to complain.
