Porto Antico

Porto Antico is full of life and culture and just being right there in the old town makes the stay in Bari very immerseful. The house layout is something we‘re never been but we find it very interesting and authentic.

For the accessibility of each room, you‘ll be needing to go up and downstairs.

What can I say? It was a privilege to stay in Porto Antico! You can tell that the host has put a lot of work in this property, from the traditional fishermen decor to little things like fresh, cold water in the fridges, soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, coffee/tea and biscuits, etc. We felt right at home, were super comfortable, but most importantly, were in a prime location where we could walk to cafes, restaurants, and the historical centre easily in 10 minutes or less. He even helped us understand the parking situation and where we can leave our car. This will truly be a stay to remember for me and my partner. Thank you Andrea, keep up the good work - I can't recommend this property enough.

It was a lovely clean apartment in a great location. Really felt like you were where the locals lived. It was clean and Andrea was a wonderful welcoming host. Would 100% recommend to stay here. There are lots of stairs as it’s over three floors so would be an issue if you had mobility issues, otherwise completely fine. Thank you Andrea for all your help while we stayed there.

Our stay at Porto Antico was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the outstanding hospitality of Andrea. From offering invaluable local tips for places to eat to providing a tour guide advices, Andrea ensured every moment was memorable. The accommodation was charming, and the location perfect for exploring the city. Andrea came to pick us up at the train station, and for a small compensation on which we insisted took us to the airport, we are so thankful. Grazie mille for an unforgettable experience. Stairs in the apartment might be too big of an obstacle for elderly.

The host, Andrea, was incredibly helpful right from the start, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The apartment was beautifully renovated and had all the amenities we needed. The thoughtful gifts, such as the delicious fruits and exquisite Prosecco, were a nice touch. And Bari was simply stunning, even in January.

I can't think of even a single negative experience during our stay.

What a cute little place, right in the heart of the old town. Simply furnished, with love, by the owner Andrea, to reflect the nearby sea. He was a wonderful host, giving us various tips and information about the area and even a parting gift of local taralli biscuits. Could not have been more helpful and welcoming

Nothing to complain about. The only minor disadvantage if you are driving is that there is no parking outside - understandable because of being in the old pedestrian part of town. But there is plenty of cheap parking on the sea front nearby.

We enjoyed everything, the apartment, the location, the facilities, the cleanliness. Very good value for money. Andrea is for sure the best host in Bari! He proposed us a one-day trip outside Bari, which was wonderful. He showed us very good typical restaurants, he even gave us a free lift to the train station when left. In a few words, our stay was perfect! Thank you once again, Andrea!

Owner was helpful and suggested places to go and took us to and from the apartment to the train station. Free fruit's and prosseco and plenty of good coffee there. Great location near the sea and in the old town
