Porto Antico

It was a very authentic accomodation in the old town of Bari. Andrea the owner was very kind and nice.

Perfect location in old town, nice house with 3 floors, ground floor kitchen with toilet, first floor living room, second floor nice bedroom with very comfortable bed, and top floor with spacious design bathroom and terras. The owner is easy to communicate with and very helpfull! We will book again if we go to Bari!

Andrea und sein Sohn Marco sind sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Sie haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Stadthäuschen hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

A perfect central location. The house was super clean with everything, and more, you need. Andrea and his son Marco were so friendly and welcoming and left lots of fresh fruit for us, as well as plenty of coffee and breads and even Prosecco!

Lots of stairs, but we knew that before we came and wasn’t a problem

Andrea and his son, Marco, were the perfect accommodation owners. They couldn't have done any more for us, they actually went over and beyond for us, from picking us up at the bus station on arrival in Bari to dropping us off at the airport at 05.30am on the morning of departure, incredible! I've never had that service in all of the years travelling abroad. And not to mention the information on Bari on arrival, the short tour of the area in Andrea's car plus the gifts of local produce kindly given to us and of course the welcome pack of Prosecco and fruit and the beautiful basil plant. Special mention too of the cleanliness of the accommodation it really was spotless with loads of toiletries and coffee, salt and olive oil etc. We honestly couldn't have asked for any more from two excellent hosts and also two very nice friendly guys. Andrea even offered to take us on a trip with his son and daughter to Monopoli for the day but sadly we decided to stay in Bari that day as we were a bit tired from travelling otherwise we would have taken him up on his kind offer.

Nothing really the location was excellent, food in Bari was outstanding as was the weather and the local area was nice and secluded with really nice neighbours, there was some noise at times i.e. during the day and early evening but by about ten pm the place was dead quiet.

The property was beautifully and uniquely decorated. It was spotless and well equipped for our every need. We loved the top floor balcony. Andrea is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. His welcome gifts of a fruit basket and prosecco were gratefully received.
