It was lovely, the property was lovely and in a lovely location.

There was a bit of mould in the downstairs toilet. The kitchen sink gave a horrible smell whenever you ran the tap. The upstairs bed slats kept falling out, we kept having to fix that.

Bedside tables in the main bedroom please - and less harsh bedside lighting! Also a full length mirror somewhere would be appreciated.

Could do with having a second comfy sofa, rather than the 2 small armchairs

Great location at heart of historic town yet still lovely and quiet. Can highly recommend guided tour.

Unfortunately cleanliness could have been better- kitchen floor had not been washed on our arrival and footprints clearly visible. Stair runner also very grubby and stained. I suspect owners not on site to check on cleaner. Upstairs shower also not working - water ran permanently cold- and whilst this was of little inconvenience to us as only a party of two people and owners responded immediately on it being drawn to their attention however disappointing to note on looking back on reviews that issues with the shower had already been raised.
