Cosy cottage. Light airey ,very clean. Good quiet location.

The bathroom sink was a little small. A shelf is needed for toothbrushes, etc.

Very convenient quiet location for Deal and surrounding areas. Lots of lovely eateries coffee shops pubs and shops within walking distance. Also very dog friendly !

Nothing to dislike

Not too far from town centre; near the seafront; space for parking outside; quiet street.

Possibly needed a few more medium sized serving bowls. Didn’t bother us, but some may have found a dishwasher or washing machine useful.

Great location being close to the sea, and walking distance to the castle and town. The cottage’s decor is lovely, it was clean and well equipped. Plus welcome cakes!

Great venue, a street back from the main road, not problem parking. 2 bed cottage with a bathroom downstairs and surprise extra hidden toilet. Well decorated with a nice seaside style. A good courtyard at the back, although we didn't use it. Useful coat rail under the stairs. Nice little kitchen with an electric / indiction hob. All the kit you need really. It is about 10 minutes walk from town, there are a few shops as you get to the main road too. Easy to get out to explore (we did Broadstairs). Very clean and organised, fire equipment in the kitchen, all the fire alarms and A couple of good CO detectors you'd hope for, even couple of rolled up breach matts if you head off to the beach, or a sandy beach in Broadstairs. Restaurants on the sea from Dunkerley's and 81 Beach street, along with the cafe / restaurant on the pier; the Mexican restaurant also looked popular . Look out for the Saturday market at the far end of the high street. We had some cake and milk in the fridge when we arrived which was nice. Co-op is about 15 minutes walk near the start of town, there is also a Sainsburys just back from the high street (we didn't get to that one).

This is a really good cottage and set up - perhaps 5 minutes to town is better than 10, but I think you'd then struggle for parking, so really the location is an ideal balance between close to town and able to get parking. The beds were perhaps a bit soft for our liking, but no big deal, it didn't bother the sleep. The street is very quiet which is far more important for sleep. I'd perhaps suggest some blackout lining for the bedroom curtain (it was a bit bright early in the morning), but again I'm really stretching the point to find anything to improve on. A really good job with the cottage.

- De afmetingen van de ruimtes, dit huisje was echt te klein voor 4 mensen om comfortabel te verblijven - Het comfort was naar ons gevoel ook eerder beperkt; extreem beschadigde keukenpotten (waardoor kankerverwekkend), losse WC bril, moeilijke afwatering van het toilet boven, loskomende latjes in de lattenbodem.
