Radernie Place - No 23

It was extremely clean and the bedding and towels were white, crispy, fluffy and spotless! Very good quality hand soap, body wash and shampoo were provided and tea towels, kitchen roll, a few dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. This may be standard in an Airbnb but I had brought it all with me just in case. I’ll know for next time. It was in a perfect location for a visit to family in Strathkinness and a short distance from Leuchars, St Andrews and Morrisons. The two double bedrooms were very large and had built in wardrobes. I was in one of the two single beds in the third room and it sounds like I had the best bed of all with a super comfy mattress. It was great to have a garden, the information folder was comprehensive and polite and we did our recycling! We will definitely book it again for the next visit and recommend to others.

Beds were uncomfortable unfortunately; quiet neighborhood and the house was great otherwise,

It had four walls and a roof.

SPIDERS! Not just one, two, or three; but many spiders. Not just little ones, but ones that looked like they could take down a small mouse. The only reason I stayed inside the home was because it was the only place left in St. Andrews during the golf tournament and university move-ins. When brought to the attention of the host, their response was excuses and then denials. They blamed the spiders on farming, which was no where near the home. I've included only a couple of photos, but this site does not allow sharing video of them running around.

We thought it was a great location, as it was very close to the centre and supermarkets. Easy to find. We felt safe and it was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house was relatively clean (could be better) and the kitchen was well equipped (apart from the kitchen roll)

A few issues: - The shower did not work properly, as we could not turn to cold, so it was way too hot, especially for my young children :( - Ran out of toilet roll and kitchen roll, and there wasn't any spare in the cupboards, so we had to buy more - Paint was peeling from areas, so probably would benefit from a new lick of paint, and there was a hole in the kitchen celing for the pipes to run through - It said it was standard to have 1 double, and 4 single beds. We got 2 doubles and only 2 singles instead - Floorboards and doors were incredibly creaky, so had to try and avoid walking over certain areas and opening and closing doors whilst the children were sleeping
