Casa Sentir a Maia

Location très propre , appartement petit mais fonctionnel. Idéal pour une étape. Place de parking appreciable Panier d'accueil offert

Cuisine un peu étroite mais suffisante pour un court séjour. La plage à 2 pas de la location n'est pas nettoyée.

Great little place in a quiet town unless....of course there is a festival in which case it is party central! Lol. We were there at the end of July and the Festa was 7 days during that time. We loved it and felt privileged to be part of the community celebrations. Be warned it can be loud into the late hours during the Festa, so if that is not for you, ask the landlord before booking. The apartment has everything you need and seems like it has been freshly updated. It is small and cozy but perfect for our family of 4. The terrace has a partial sea view and we loved eating there while listening/watching the waves. The back area is a forest, so very quiet and peaceful. Location is central to everything on the island making either east or west sights an easy drive away.

I have nothing to complain about. My kids were getting annoyed with the late night music during the Festa, but they are just teenagers who like complaining more often than not. Lol.

The pack of groceries was very welcome on our first morning - and the bottle of wine later in the day! The property was very clean and is well positioned for evening walks to a couple of local restaurants and for exploring the island by car during the day. It was good to have the reserved parking space as roads are narrow in Maia and parking can be difficult. The maps and information supplied were a great help in planning the places to visit. Great value for money, the owners respond quickly to emails and checked in personally at the end of our stay to receive feedback and have a chat. A very thoughtful touch!

Everything was fine, no suggestions for improvement.

The host went an extra mile providing a basic food basics which made a difference. Loved how they had travel maps and QR codes to help explore the island! Very clean and has all the amenities you could ask for. Very happy and would come again.

I found a little hard to sleep as there were like air on type noise which seemed coming for the neighbours. Nothing the host could do about this as it’s external factor. Despite that everything was good!

The house is equipped with everything you need. Is clean, comfortable and what is important in winter, it has heating😀

The washing machine should be replaced.

Everything was perfect, from the arrival to the Azores until we reached this little gem in the middle of the island. João and Joe (and the cousin) are the best. Nice little one flat house with sea view and lovely terrace. Maia is in the middle of the island, so it is really easy to get anywhere within 30 minutes.

perhaps just a suggestion for improvement, sunbed on the terrace and normal door on toilet
