Host & Stay - Sunbird Lodge

Love this lodge 3rd time we have stayed here . Feels so homely . Great location on the site

Only thing I would say is it needs a hoover that guests can use and the 4 pm check in is a little late for the price you pay . We traveled for a special occasion and called the site 3 times prior to check in to see if we could get in a little earlier . Arrived and was told it would be ready till 4 . People came early while we waited and got straight into the lodge …… we sat and waited with no effort to speed up our check in . Again we when in to ask if there was any news and the girl on reception couldn’t of been less interested. I waited till 4 went in and apparently they had just had word it was done . Last on the list so I seamed . No point in requesting early check in despite been told to call on the way down . An hour wasted hanging around waiting for a phone call that didn’t come . Lodge 10/10 check in staff 0/10
