Host & Stay - Sunbird Lodge

We loved everything about Sunbird lodge. It was beautifully furnished, decorated and very cosy. The hot tub was an added bonus to relax in after a busy couple of days in York and Whitby. We would definitely recommend this lodge to other families and couples wanting a little break away to York and the surrounding areas.

The pillows could have been a little softer, but that's being picky. Also it states on the map of the park that it used to have a little pond that the lodge used to look out over, which is no longer there. There are some lovely little ponds dotted around the site with little fountains lit up at night and would make a lovely view for the lodge to have something like that to look out on while relaxing on the decking balcony.

Very comfortable, bed was so comfy, very clean and great facilities

Hut tub installed backwards the step into the tub is next to the fence, so you have to climb in, which is dangerous, the parking and way out isn't clear.

The property was very clean and spacious

there was nothing to dislike

it was a beautiful lodge much better than it’s pictures. very stylish everything you would need for your stay and more. the site was well taken care of and the good on the on-site restaurant was amazing. overall a great stay will be booking again.
