Bridgewater Lodge with Hot Tub

The fridge was humongous!!! The seating in the lounge was comfy

We were supposed to stay in Carnoustie 4, but it got flooded, the one we had to relocate to was dirty, I had to wash crockery and cutlery before use, the kettle was thick with deposit which made having a cup of tea really off-putting as the deposit would float on top of the tea, in the main bedroom we had nowhere to hang our clothes as the closet was stuffed with bedding, and the mattress on the bed needs replacing, really uncomfortable, and all the light shades were dirty, stayed at Allerthorpe a couple of times and never had a problem, but this time it was not satisfactory

The lodge was lovely- exactly as pictured. Perfect for our trip. Great location aswell.

The tv remote didn’t work as batteries were dead and the heating/hot water had an issue but cannot fault how fast both issues were resolved upon reporting them.

Lodge was comfortable clean and well kept. Hot tub was great. Good location for trip into york and surrounding area.

More seating outside and although 6 berth lodge only 4 chairs around table. Security deposit asked for adpfter booking of £200 no mention of this on write up.

Superb clean lodge , plenty of space , great cooking utensils/ crockery. Lovely bar and restaurant onsite. Close to Pocklington for a night out or monks Cross for shopping. Recommend Judsons for a meal. The golf club food looked amazing and had a great ambience.

Limited taxis for a group of 5, had to pay £10 per taxi for a 5 min trip twice. Flooded steps/roads due to heavy downfall, which made it difficult to load cars There was no duvet cover on spare bedding for sofa bed

I enjoyed the view and the hot tub.

The beds they were uncomfortable so dint manage to get good sleep.

Everything. It was just lovely. The hottub was great. The lodge had Everything you could need.

The only thing that was odd was the colour of the lake it didn't seem natural.
