Comfortable and beautifully decorated

The location. The decor. cleanliness.

the position of the house is amazing right next to the walls and a short walk into town. The beds were really comfortable and the the house is beautifully decorated.

The plates, cups and cutlery are lovely but they don’t fit in the dishwasher so you have to wash up which was annoying. There are not enough cooking implements, no bread knife, no bread board, no oil or salt and pepper just a few basics missing for cooking. Also you have to open the door to the top bedroom to get to the bathroom.

The property was clean, inside nicely decorated. Beds comfy and great shower.

There was nothing really to dislike

Great location, and comfortable, loved the band that came down the street on Christmas eve

Probably could have done with a few more kitchen utensils as was cooking Christmas dinner, but just a minor issue

spacious , plenty of room for 4 of us , comfortable beds , good facilities for cooking had a fine chipper very close and a good local Sainsbury’s. also a lovely wee paper shop so close by to keep our cases as check out was 10 and our train was 4 pm

had a bit of trouble with the toilet flush and draining of the water in the shower unsure if this is just this property or if it’s the drainage system in York also found when walking home at night the lighting in the street outside the property wasn’t that great
