The house was very clean and furnished beautifully and in a fantastic location, very quiet

It would have been nice to have had a little freezer box in fridge for ice .

We liked the location, how peaceful the area was and how quaint the property appeared on first look prior to entering it. Once inside it was beautiful. We loved the decor and how rich the colours and furnishings presented. Everything was so gorgeous. Well looked after and cared for. It absolutely deserved being treated with respect. Each room was set out beautifully, clean and really comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with fantastic shower. The house was warm and inviting. We even had a squirrel in the little patio garden! Kitchen had all the amenities required and more. The beds were all comfortable with great pillows and everyone had a great nights sleep!! There was nothing negative other than our weekend stay having to come to an end!!

Fantastic location inside the city walls and a very short walk to Micklegate and all of the main attractions. The house is exceptionally tidy and clean and really well presented. Lots of space and a great base to explore from.

Would benefit another toilet but apart from that nothing.

Fabulous, peaceful location.

Location was great, short walk from the train station and a short walk to the city centre. Quiet at night. Beautiful and quirky. Had everything you needed - a real home from home. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Little courtyard and bench out the front.

No downstairs toilet and one main bathroom. Radiator in the one bedroom didn’t work (had my 80 year old dad with me), luckily wasn’t too cold. Not really complaining - just a downside.
