Gleneagles Lodge with Hot Tub

Lovely setting, spacious and comfortable lodge with relaxing hot tub. Great location to relax and visit York by car for the day. Very quiet and well maintained site. Short drive to local amenities.

Location was perfect, secluded and quiet. Lovely wrap around decking makes Access so easy. The pictures don’t do the lodge justice, the shear size and beauty is outstanding.

The double bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable, the mattress was disappointing for the general excellent standard of the lodge, could not sleep on it and had to sleep in one of the single beds instead

Appalling customer service. Dirty nappies outside our lodge. Our son was poorly so we used a towel and bed sheet which we placed in the washing machine. They retained £50 of our 1 night stay £200 security deposit for the cost of cleaning these. £300 for 1 night; we will not be going back. It appears they are looking for any excuse to retain your security deposit.

Hot tub was great to use Was very spacious Was tidy and clean

The lodge had a funny smell Bed's were a little uncomfortable TV in bedroom wasn't working The dishes were really dirty, so we put them all in dishwasher as soon as we arrived

Lodges were well spaced out with plenty of facilities. J Js restaurant was excellent with a good range of meals to suit all tastes, and the nine hole golf course and driving range were excellent and well kept.

Everything was perfect on the site, we have no negative comments.
