We loved our stay. Felt like our home away from home. Slept like babies. Location was ideal as it was an easy walk to all the great things to see and do in York.

Could have used a few more napkins and an extra roll of toilet paper. Not much of anything to complain about.

Everything. It exceeded our expectations and only 10 minutes from the Minster - what more could you want.

Perhaps a few more toilet rolls as 2 days and 3 nights for 3 adults and a 14 year old - we went through our allocation and had to buy a few more. Also you may not be aware but the hot tap in the bathroom sink drips.

Bathroom was in need of an update, but totally adequate for our needs.

This is a lovely property, well situated for exploring York. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Shower didn’t have any hot water and heating wasn’t adequate enough for a very cold weekend- however both were eventually resolved

The house was very clean and warm and the decor and furnishings of a high standard. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of crockery and cutlery.

There is only one bathroom, which worked for us (4 female longstanding friends), but may create pressure for eg 6 people, especially as there is no downstairs or extra toilet. We felt there could have been more in the way of basic supplies, especially eg handwash and tea towels. There was just a tiny amount of hand wash in the bottle in the kitchen and none at all in the bathroom, and only one tea towel. This may seem trivial, but actually annoyed us very much as it seemed so minimal in the light of the charge for the property.
