"Relaxing and comfortable"

Second new years in a row we have stayed in this lodge, loved it so much last year we booked the same one again! Very cosy and clean, great facilities in the kitchen I cooked a full dinner on New Year’s Day. Hot tub is lovely too. Lovely views.

As we went to relax we did watch a bit of telly which we found a bit challenging not many channels on normal tv but we could log into our own Netflix and prime (after I remembered the passwords)!

The setting was superb, the lodge was lovely. We ate at JJs and the food and staff there were fabulous.

The lodge could have done with a clean on the top windows. There were a lot of dead flies and dirt

"Enjoy the stay with a hot tub."

With hot tub. Well equipped with all the utilities.

The sofa has a smell that is unpleasant, but is solved fast.

"If you are looking for a place to stay to explore York then this is definitely the one."

Lovely location, can drive to explore nearby places, we used this location to explore York. We explored the piglet adventure farm which wasn’t to far. York city centre and took a day trip to Whitby which is around an hour away. Excellent resturaunt on site and pizza van on Saturdays. Hot tub was a lovely extra and very clean overall. Bedroom has an en-suite which was useful with a bath. Thank you for a lovely stay

Have to secure £200 security deposit for the booking, it did rain and could of been good if there was some shelter on the decking for the hot tub but overall an amazing stay.
