Excellent location, gorgeous property well kept, comfy bed and sofas

Slightly on the pricey end, but alot of York is. Have to pay quite a premium for logs for the fires

Very convenient for the city centre nicely presented with good facilities. Free parking .

The kitchen and garden in this property are show stoppers! As well as the very central location:)

I personally think that for the price per night there could be some improvements. In the bathroom, not having a hand held shower in the bath makes showering without wetting your hair very difficult! Also a vanity cupboard that does not have shelves. The smaller bed mattress was not very comfortable. Small things like a pedal toilet bin where you don’t have to touch the bin top are an easy fix! I think more flexibility for early check in would also be welcome rather than simply charging an extra fee, or at least giving the option to deposit suitcases since check in is quite late at 3pm!

Parking and location were perfect. Short walk into the center and we didn't have to use the car at all during stay

the photos make it look like you get a bottle of bubbly on arrival but all we got was 1 pint of milk!

Great location - all the main sites are within walking distance; free parking; comfortable and clean.

Nothing really, though we found the front living room a little cold but it does have a log burner if needed.

Great location, wonderful space and flexible and accommodating hosts. Parking permit is very helpful and the house is modern and welcoming.
