Fantastic location and perfect stay for the two of us. Lovely thoughtful crisps, biscuits and milk

The shower wasn’t powerful but it did the job for a body shower and overall wasn’t an issue

Great quiet location and a few minutes walk to city centre. The host also left some goodies for us to kickstart our stay without worrying about having to rush to the supermarket. Communication by the host was excellent, proactive, and helpful

Location was quiet and there was easy access to the 2 bridges crossing the river as well as York Barbican.Extremely comfy bed and pleasant furnishings

The shower would go freezing cold repeatedly

Shower was poor

Location is good. The house is warm and well equipped. It's generally very comfortable. The owner communicated well.

The bedroom floorboards are quite squeaky and the bathroom door swings open unless fully clicked which is difficult. Both these made getting up at night quietly a challenge. Mealtimes felt a bit cramped with the table under the stairs. Small thing, but the taps had to be turned off very tightly or they would drip.
