Kyme Street, central York

Very comfortable and homely property, Clean and welcoming with the little Christmas touches lit up for our arrival. A lovely welcome pack, including milk, and coffee tea and sugar provided. There was also an advent calendar to open the relevant doors during our stay. The bed was very comfortable, and there was plentiful hot water for a shower or a bath. The lovely skylight on the bedroom was nice as I don’t like total darkness. Only a short walk to all amenities in the heart of York. Parking right outside the property was a definite bonus! Great communication from Lisa, the owner.

Lisa the owner could not have been more helpful, at the end of a phone if we needed anything. The house itself was perfect, on arriving we were given a welcome snack basket, the house was spotlessly clean and a great location. Not too far to walk into York itself and all it has to offer, and in a nice quiet area when you came away from the Xmas madness. Overall I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for our stay, we will return.

Slight confusion as to where the key was kept as I went into the wrong side.

Everything was wonderful. The little Christmas touches were much appreciated. Had everything you could need in the kitchen. It was superb.

Very comfortable and clean. Large comfortable bed. Good central heating, nice and warm. Excellent location, easy walking distance to city centre attractions and railway station. Host very amenable. Milk and biscuits provided for arrival.

No microwave. However, good oven.

Lovely little well equipped house. Handy that a decent sized travel cot is provided. Comes with the typical thin travel cot mattress but was told that beforehand and just brought some blankets to pad it out. Plenty of space in the bedroom for it without being cramped. Very short walk into the city centre and extremely handy for the Barbican. Great communication from the host.
