The Cleveland

The beds were comfy, good size bathroom, good location, easy walk into town, good-sized bedrooms. We enjoyed the property and would stay again,there were only a couple of minor niggles! .

There was only really wine / prosecco glasses available, so was difficult to give the kids a drink in a normal glass. No where to hang coats/ scarves etc. (We bring a lot of coats especially in winter ).

Lovely homely feel, very comfortable and great location for York city centre.

Perhaps a slighter later check out would have been preferred to allow time to make breakfast before leaving. Customer service was exceptional!

Nice street, lovely neighbours

No stair rail, smelt of damp, 20-minute walk into centre.

Entrance details easy to follow. Very comfortable beds. Good, easy to use shower. Oven, microwave easy to use and washer/dryer a boon.

Dirty cutlery. No privacy to front - when the heavy curtains pulled back, full view from pavement right outside. On day of leaving had a shock when a man let himself in and shouted up the stairs that he’d come to empty bins (he forgot one). Would have liked to have been made aware of short cut to station through the back roads.
