Very modern, we loved the little upstairs bedroom. Nice little touches with tea, coffee etc.

So many fly’s!! They were all around the window In the lounge, no escaping them, entangled in webs etc.

"A lovely treat to a hot tub and a den for the kids."

Very clean, lovely hot tub, good beds for all the family. The 2 youngest particularly liked that their beds were in a “den”.

No microwave but I’m being picky!

The lodge was lovely, well set out.

There was a horrible smell coming from the sink drain in the kitchen, we had to air the whole place out every time we arrived back. During the nights the drains made noises which woke us up on several occasions. Our complaints landed on deaf ears.

"Lovely lodge with character"

We have visited the site before, we like that it's quiet and the location is beautiful. The lodge had a cute upstairs bedroom kind of like a mezzanine which was a nice touch and the kids loved that.

There was a questionable stain on one of the decorative pillows in the main bedroom and the hot tub had some dirt culminating round the edge when we first got in it (so not from us). Overall it was clean and tidy though.

Lovely location, pleasant staff at check in

Poor level of cleanliness which was not really addressed when advised...pair of dirty pants under my child's bed, teaspoon at the side of my bed, someone else's tooth brush and paste on the bathroom cabinet. Many items from the kitchen missing such as plastic wine glasses etc. Also the hot tub was slightly scummy at the top and gritty at the bottom. We advised on exit and simply got told that they'd tell the cleaning team, no apology.

The hideaway was a lovely quaint little lodge an dthe hot tub was beautiful

The sleeping arrangements. When I booked I didn't realise there would be a very cramped upstairs and with 2 teenagers, myself and a 7 year old it was very very snug and it was a matter of crawling into bed
