Casa Randonneur, traditional townhouse in Álora.

Very spacious well equipped town house in a central location. The bedrooms are at different ends of the house so it was very private. Roof terrace was lovely in the evening. We would certainly stay here again.

Parking can be a challenge, although we dropped off our bags and found a parking spot 5 minutes away and left our car for the duration of our stay. Stairs are quite steep so not suitable for anyone of reduced mobility, although there are handrails.

lovely house perfectly located in the village! we loved the open space/outdoor space where we had all our meals.

good to know is that roades in Alora are very narrow and steep. I recommend to use the parning lot in the edgrs of the city and walk to the house.

Large apartment with several bedrooms and bathrooms, unique and beautifully renovated, very good location close (but not too close) to the main street and restaurants.

Could have been slightly cleaner. We visited during early December and the apartment was a bit cold. Some rooms had aircon which helped.

Very large apartment with lots of different places to relax and nice roof terrace with kitchenette and fridge and a well stocked kitchen downstairs. The owner called us to make sure we found it and all was ok. Apartment is in the centre of the village so everything is close just be aware the bars and restaurants are open Spanish village times not tourist times as it is more a locals village. But this is good when you go out as things are a lot cheaper and you get more for your money. Would recommend the nearby caminito del ray, if you have a head for heights. A cliff edge board walk with stunning view through the valley and when you Finnish drop you helmet at the kiosk and walk up the hill to the restaurant opposite El chorro train station. Great meal with stunning views over the lake.

Excellent location within the village. Close to shops, cafes, bars and transport. The house has been reformed and decorated to a high standard. and has a ovely view of the castle.

A very short steep climb to the house . It was fine for us but another family member might have found it difficult.

Location food, able to walk to all amenities. Property excellent. Locals friendly. Prices inexpensive.
