Superbe grande maison traditionnelle. Très bien équipée, tout était prêt pour notre arrivée. La ville fait vraiment des efforts pour attirer des touristes qui aiment découvrir le Japon intérieur, la ville offre de belles visites avec des restaurants sympathiques. Si vous venez dans la région, je vous conseille grandement de venir y faire un tour.

雰囲気がとても良かった。歴史的建造物で過ごせるという贅沢な体験ができるのはとても貴重だと感じた。 昔の人の生活を疑似体験できる。良いところも大変なところもしっかり見える。

施設の特性上、見学者と顔を合わせることも想定されることを事前に理解しておかないといけないかなと感じた。結果、縁側を感じるような滞在の仕方はできなかった。 簡易的な網戸も用意されているようであったが、他の客が通ることもあるので使いたいという気にはなれなかった。 季節柄、虫が発生することはあらかじめ想定しておかないといけないかなと。縁側の窓は隙間が多く閉まっていても虫が入り込む可能性があった。虫が無理な方は気を付けた方が良い。 暑い時期ではエアコンは1台しかないので注意が必要かも。扇風機は２台あったので助かった。風を通すために窓を開けると虫が入ってくるためいろいろ取捨選択を迫られる。

You do not have to miss any comfort to still get the experience of living in older times. The house contains museum items so every day there is something to inspect or admire. No, you do not have to tiptoe through the big rooms, you have ample space to move. The modern built old bathtub is a comfortable and funny experience. The kitchen has all necessary modern amenities in a style that suits the property. In all details a successful attempt to perfection. Besides all this, Ikuno is a charming little town, with surprising good views at every bend of the river, where life seems to go at an easy pace. There are nice places to eat and there is a big enough supermarket with a good variety of fresh foods.
