非常に清潔で快適でした。受付におられたスタッフの方々にも親切にしていただきました。気温の高い日に泊まりましたが、とても涼しく快適でした。縁側でゆったり過ごす時間が、他ではできない経験で嬉しかったです。

19号棟に宿泊させていただきました。 トトロに出てくるような、田舎の家に戻ったような、懐かしい気持ちになるお宿でした。 明治に建てられたとの事でしたが、中は綺麗で清潔感があります。 縁側や畳が素敵で、本を読みながらのんびりできました。 電子レンジ、トースター、炊飯器、ポット、IHコンロ、鍋や器、塩など調味料もあるので、次は食材を持ち込んで料理したいです。 お風呂も広く、洗面台やお手洗も綺麗です。 洗濯機と洗剤もあって有り難かったです！ 徒歩数分の所にトロッコ軌道跡と神社があるので、散策におすすめです。 夜に、隣の棟に宿泊される外国の方が間違って来られましたが、スタッフの方にチャットで連絡するとすぐ来て頂け、女性一人の宿泊でも心強かったです。 志村喬記念館でこの地域に詳しい方にお話も聞けて、スタッフの方々のホスピタリティが最高でした。

駐車場や玄関の場所や、鍵の開け閉めが少しわかりにくかたですが、事前に予約時のメールやウェブサイトを確認しておけば大丈夫だと思います。 エアコンが、布団が敷いてある一部屋にしかないので、夏は他の部屋は少し暑いです。(扇風機はあります！) 夜電気を付けっ放しにしておくと小さい羽虫が入って来ましたが、気にはならない程度でした。

Wonderful experience staying in an old traditional home.

We had a really good stay in the house. Big space, authentic feeling, quiet area. Very nice.

We fell in love with the house and the little town of Ikuno. The house was big and spacious for three people, also we enjoyed the kotatsu and the bathtub the most. The kitchen was also well equipped and the owner very responsive and friendly!

They did an awesome job restoring the place and it felt very special living in a traditional Japanese house. There were many “antiques” which is nice for display but slightly clutters up the place for staying overnight. Staff were responsive and kind.

Be aware the property gets very cold in winter. With heaters in each room and kotatsu in the “living room”, it feels fine in those rooms once it warms up but you really feel the cold going to the toilet or using the shower at night.
