Kandy Fortress

I stayed at this homestay for 3 days and had a wonderful experience. The place was very clean, peaceful, and felt like home. The host was kind and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

Everything is good. Very friendly owner. Beautiful view 😍 You can to order taxi by pick me or you can get lake by walking (around 15-20 minutes).

Für das Geld war dir Ausstattung ok und Raumgröße angemessen. Eine spontane Stornierung wurde sofort freundlich akzeptiert.

Mit dem Auto erreicht man dir Unterkunft quasi nicht, ohne das Auto zu zerstören. Die Unterkunft liegt ganz oben in Kandy, sodass man einmal oben angekommen ist wenig Lust hat nochmal nach unten zu gehen/fahren. Das Personal war zu unserem Fahrer sehr unfreundlich,wodurch wir uns dort nicht mehr wohl gefühlt hatten,auch wenn sie zu uns freundlich waren. Das Zimmer mit der Klimaanlage war feucht und man sah an den Wänden bereits große Wasserflecken. Dies sei wohl vom Regen gekommen, aber es wirkte eher als würde es bald schimmeln.

Clean nice room with everything you need and the woman running the place is so incredibly kind. Its a little far from Kandy city center, but theres a path from the property down to the road below, making it quite easy to get down to the lake and tooth temple. Maybe a 15-20 min walk, then another 10 min or so to the city center. This is the best place to stay in Kandy.
