"Stay at the Kyoto Kanjakuan machiya was good."

Good location. Train station and supermarkets were close by. Property owner very responsive and provided very good instructions to get and enter the property.

The water boiler at the property did not seem to work consistently, sometimes the water was hot other times it was cold. No extra padding for sleeping on the floor so it was a little uncomfortable.
