The Bay, Filey, Moonshine Cottage

Very tidy and well equipped modern property with good parking adjacent to the rear garden. Nice ,current electrical goods,and impeccable decor.

The beds, mattresses were thin and the twin bedded rooms an adult had problems with poor springing etc.

The downstairs wc as well as the family bathroom upstairs. The location was very good to get around. The onsite shop and bar was only minutes away from the property.

Personally, the double bed was uncomfortable. The property would also benefit with designated parking, as every time we took the car out, we couldn't park by the property.

Moonshine cottage is in a great location close to the beach. Welcome pack with loads of information about the cottage and activities. Would definitely recommend and look for to booking again.

Parking was a problem, on 3 occasions we were unable to park due to inconsiderate people parking and leaving too much space between car's. Correct painted bays would eliminate the problem.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable.

No problems at all apart from the front door doesnt lock from the outside. We had to go through the back door.

Cute little seaside cottage. Nearly nicely decorated and everything we needed .

Garden area

Great location near to fabulous beach,and a good base for exploring the surrounding areas.places we visited included Whitby,Scarborough,Bridlington and Flamborough. The cottage is well appointed and comfortable and the whole site is very easily accessible. We would certainly stay there again.

Lack of instructions for a few things like the Internet TV,also not enough side plates in cupboard,but very minor points really and certainly didn't detract from the whole experience. The on site pub although nice, we found to be very expensive for drinks and food so didn't use it as much as we otherwise would have. The small site shop is handy though.
