The Bay, Filey, Moonshine Cottage

The property is fabulous! Really clean and modern. Comfy beds. Large soft towels. Not far from the leisure facilities. Good value for money. Tastefully furnished.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The property looks lovely and it has all the facilities you might need.

There were a couple of maintenance issues (broken toilet seat, broken bath plug) that I emailed to the owner but didn’t get a reply from them. The main bed was really uncomfortable! I could feel the wooden slats under the mattress.

We loved it, it was home away from home. We will not hesitate in referring other people.

The cottage was perfect. It has everything we needed. Comfy and cosy. The bath was amazing! 10 min walk down to the beach. Pub and shop on site. Plenty of parking. Child and dog friendly.

5pm check in. We always go away and get there early. Have a wander round etc. it was raining and a bit chilly. The cleaners still hadn’t been and it was 4.30. Kate did say we would be able to use the site’s facilities and that was great but we just wanted to check in.

Quality of the furnishings well looked after and comfortable

Just missing a small welcome pack ( pint of milk pack of biscuits) and a cloth or kitchen towel to wipe the sides down .

Really nice property and in a great location for long beach walks

Location is fab. Beach and wildlife meadow om doorstep.

Cafe shut. Told us it was only at weekends. Pub didn't have enough staff and was expensive

The location and facilities.

The hist sent a very rude txt to me re the heating. We belive we wasnot excessive as it was very cold on a night. We did not use any of the appliances provided and we ate out. Very poor customer service.
