Great location and nice decor

Slightly musty smell

Excellent location for visiting Frome. Easy to drop off luggage then park on a nearby street. The cottage was the perfect size, we loved the stylish bathroom.

We had a lovely stay but felt that the paintwork and the outside terrace needed some TLC, there's obviously a bit of a damp problem. Also, would be nice to have a few pods for the coffee machine.

This was a cosy, comfortable cottage in a town centre location. A beautiful town with quaint streets and friendly locals

I'd forgotten what town centres are like on a Friday/Saturday night! Can be on the noisy side, but to be expected given this properties ideal location on a beautiful street.

Great location.

The house was far from clean which was very disappointing. The beds were uncomfortable, lumpy and squeaky. The sheets were not clean and had hairs on them (not dogs and not ours!) The sheets were old and bobbly. The twin beds are not suitable for adults. The kitchen was poorly equipped and the pots and pans needed replacing. The cooker hood was covered in dust. The coffee machine leaked. There was no welcome pack, not even a pint of milk! There were no instructions for the heating or TV. The bathroom was not clean. The socket for the shaver was broken, hanging off the wall, unsafe and not useable. But there was no plug in the wash basin, so you couldn't wet shave either. The bathroom wash basin plug hole was disgusting and full of hair and soap scum. I wish I had read the reviews properly because I would not have booked to stay here. Others have left similar comments but nothing has changed. Perhaps the owners don't care?

Some street noise on Thursday , Friday, Sat although expected as on main walk way to town, would book again

The house on the hill is a very cute house. It was very cosy, the only thing I can fault is we couldn't get the hob working and it would have been nice to have a microwave. Also the WiFi on the TV kept dropping. The location is good, it's right in a quaint village with all the shops you need, it does get a bit noisy with people walking by, but you get used to it. Also there is no direct Parking, so if you've got quite a few bags or small children, bare that in mind. All being said we enjoyed our stay and we would recommend it.
