The House on the Hill

The cottage was lovely and warm. Lovely hot shower. Quirky little shops. Bus into Bath.

A microwave would have been useful. The front bedroom didn't appear to have been cleaned. Dust and cobwebs. Wrappers under the bed. Visitors need to be aware that the house is at the top of a very steep hill. This could be a problem if someone has mobility issues. Parking was also on a hill. We booked a taxi to take us back to the car as it would have been very difficult to walk with all the bits we bought whilst there! The taxi driver was very rude and unhelpful. He appeared annoyed that we had a suitcase and bags, he practically pushed me out of the way when he put my case in the boot!

Excellent location

Location is first class. Bathroom & kitchen nice

No instructions how to connect to Internet, work heating etc. I'm a cook so kitchen poorly equipped. Main bedroom very damp no plug in bathroom sink. Lots of small things need attention.

Comfy beds and great extras like shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom

The house on the hill is in a perfect location! We parked the car up and didn’t need it once the whole stay. The pics are probably a little outdated. But the beds were comfy and it had everything we needed.

The property could potentially be a little bit cleaner.
