Galle City Nest

good cakam location. few minutes to the city.

little bit hot in the room because it’s on the roof.

We were welcomed by a very nice family, great location to visit Galle, possible to cook, great rooftop we enjoyed a lot at sunrise and sunset time, all the facilities around.

Too hot in the room.

Very roomy and kept very clean. Lots of space to move around and for an ensuite it was good. The family were lovely and very welcoming. Location is a few minutes walk from Galle railway station.

The bathroom had an open window which later on I came across a cockroach. Make sure to leave the bathroom door locked to keep any unwelcome visitors from coming into the room.

The room is located on the last floor of the owner's house in a quiet residential neighborhood of the city of Galle about 20 minutes on foot from Galle Fort and 10 minutes from Galle train station and bus stand. It has a little kitchen you could use to cook your own food. From the room, you have access to a very big terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding city and the sea. The family was very friendly and welcoming. As a solo traveller, I was happy to have enriching and interesting conversations with family members and also appreciated their concern about my safety. I wish I could have stayed longer with them.

There is nothing to complain about.

The Place was Amazing, a thiny apartment on the rooftop with view on all the city :) The room was very clean and the owner so nice and helpfull :)
