Angeliko's Vourgaris stone house

Lots of room! Vacation in a truly Greek home. Comfortable beds with 3 plus bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Scenic balcony on the top floor and a courtyard with table and chairs. Great outdoor spaces to enjoy your stay.

Well, the property is lovely. However, it is necessary to walk a half mile with 100 plus stairs over the half mile from the port. At age 77, it was challenging on day 1, but no problem by day 4!!! You get to live like a Greek!! Walking is good.

We loved the serenity and peacefull atmosphere. My cousin and I were looking for an escape from the ”Rat Race”, and found it in hydra. It was wonderful waking up to roosters crowing and Church bells ringing.

Initially we struggled with the endless steps up to the house ,but as we got used to them it became a bit of an exercise novelty.

Beautiful traditional house full of charm. We had a wonderful time, swimming in the morning, having lazy afternoons and going to the port for dinner. It’s excellent value for the price.

Bathrooms could do with some upgrading.

Bonita casa típica con muchos espacios: sala, dos terrazas, cocina completa, dos baños y camas comidas. Tiene todo lo que se necesita para una estancia cómoda y relajarte con buenas vistas después de un día de playao senderismo. Hay 3 pequeñas tiendas locales a menos de 5 minutos con todo tipo de abastecimiento que se necesite para desayunos o comidas/cenas. Está a 10-15 minutos caminando del puerto, cuesta arriba y con bastantes escalones. Pero así es Hydra!!! Un gusto cruzar medio pueblo por las calles pintorescas. Totalmente recomendable. Irene muy amable y comunicativa, un placer de hospedaje 🩵
