Peaceful location with stunning views. Even though it was the middle of summer, Akaroa experienced a cold snap during our stay so the fireplace was welcomed. Cottage was immaculately clean and well equipped.

"best accommodation of our MZ trip."

the location and surroundings are fabulous - at least in spring. especially the view from the main bedroom is superb.

the access driveway was rather poor. it os steep, covered in too much gravel inder a muddy layer. we could not drive our car up, because the wheels kept slipping. finally we had to get the caretaker to help to whizz the car up to the cottage. later we parked the car in the space near the laundry, because we could not risk trying on our own.
