FUUTEI Japanese-style lodge

Maison de style japonais dans un quartier calme, proche, à pied, de Nijo station et d'un centre commercial. Aller à Kyotostation ou autre est très facile et rapide. On vit ainsi totalement aux couleurs locales ☺️ La personne qui gérait le logement était très agréable et souple sur les horaires de départ.

Les matelas des futons mériteraient d être changés car ils ont fait leur temps (nous avons dormi sur d autres futons bien plus agréables). Par ailleurs, le bruit caisson (situé dehors) de la climatisation peut être dérangeant. C'est dommage car nous n'avons pas forcément bien dormi de ce fait... Les escaliers qui mènent aux chambres sont raides et peuvent ne pas convenir à tout le monde sachant , de surcroît, que les toilettes se trouvent en bas.

Traditional style Matcya building over two floors, great location, and well-fitted out. It was very central and close to Nijo station, so getting to all the sights is easy.

We couldn't pay by card, just cash, which meant multiple trips to the ATM over a few days.

It was very clean and a lovely host.

It was a quaint apartment, but probably a little small for the three adults and one child to stay for four nights. We arnt accustomed to futon traditional floor beds so it wasn't too comfortable but it didn't interrupt our sleep

Very comfortable and lovely property. It was in a great location and we really loved the traditional style of it.

The Heating unit outside upstairs bedroom was very loud. Kept us up at night with loud vibrations through wall at back of house.
