Sailor's House - Holiday's House

Nossa estadia no porto foi muito agradavel e incrivel na casa Sailor's House ,ótima localização muito próximo do rio Douro ,tem um mercado continente bem próximo que da jeito ,a casa é espaçosa e confortavel ,o Sr Miguel foi super gentil conseguimos fazer check in um pouco mais cedo .Obrigada pela atenção Com os melhores cumprimentos . Helpful host and everything we needed

was good,not far away of downtown,just some meters to the river ! some stores around,tram station close,really a good location for staying some days,it was quite but still close to some famous places in Porto !

The location is good with a market nearby, public transports to the main attractions of the city and close to Palácio de Cristal. The landlord’s hospitality is amazing!

It wasn’t very clean… It has spider webs everywhere and a suite that smells like sewer.

There was damp in the downstairs bedroom

Cool area right at the intersection of both historic trolly lines. Lots of bedrooms! Perfect for family with 3 kids, who are old enough to handle stairs well.

The downstairs bedroom/bathroom smells like sewage.

the house is good and you can walk to the center and riverside, tram easily

so be careful if you drive a car. We parked in front of the house, in front of the cathedral, and our window got broken into in the middle of the night. Our suitcase and a whole backpack of climbing gears are stolen. Everything worthwhile of a total of 2500 euros. I asked the owner if we can park there, and he said yes but didn't mention that the site is prone to robbery. Actually, we passed by another car that was also broken into in the neighborhood on the main street. Best to park in a paid parking lot or make sure there's nothing in the car if u park there (they might still break in though)

Everything was perfect! Clean and well organized. Lot of commodities, if you are visiting Porto this is a perfect place, in a calm neighborhood and is well connected. Very homely. It has 3 floors so be prepared to go up and down.
