"Gorgeous old Japanese charm and cosy home feeling."

Beautiful old style Japanese home complete with kotasu as we were there in winter. Also close proximity to a significant temple.

Everything, so cozy and comfortable! Fully recommend this to anyone who likes the quieter side of Kyoto! The owners went above and beyond to provide recommendations and to help with any questions. The house is also very cute with a lot of charm and detail. I personally loved the bath tub, it was really deep! Really close to a large temple area as well, a little far from the station but the walk is nice and they have bikes!

The house could use some TLC, garden is unkept now, different from the photos. Sliding doors hard to use and broken/torn.
