Ivan, son of the owners, was an amazing host! Carried our luggage up the stairs, offered in links and tips in whatsapp to everything we needed. The appartment itself is huge, clean, pretty much feels like ut was just rennovated, and has everything you can possibly want. Highly recommended!

The views were unbelievable and worth every stair! Very clean and comfortable- enjoyed the terrace at night and that it was gated and safe. Bus stop just below made things very easy to access.

We had some issues with cold water that were fixed within an hour or so of a message to the hosts, and they more than made up for the inconvenience by reserving us dinner at a local restaurant at their expense. One of our best dinners in the area!!

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Amalfi – Perfekt bis ins Detail! Unser Aufenthalt in der Casa di Sam war schlichtweg traumhaft und hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Die Unterkunft überzeugt nicht nur durch ihre fantastische Lage mitten im Herzen von Amalfi, sondern vor allem durch ihre liebevollen Details, ihren hohen Komfort und die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft der Eigentümer. Bereits beim Betreten der Wohnung spürt man, wie viel Herzblut in der Einrichtung steckt. Alles ist geschmackvoll, modern und mit viel Stil gestaltet – von der stimmigen Dekoration bis hin zur stimmungsvolle Beleuchtung. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das hochwertige Badezimmer: Ein echtes Highlight ist die moderne Wasserfalldusche, die nach einem Tag in der Stadt oder am Strand wie Wellness pur wirkt. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet – hier fehlt es wirklich an nichts. Ob Kochen, Backen oder einfach nur ein gemütliches Frühstück: alles ist vorhanden, top gepflegt und funktional. Eine besonders schöne Geste: Es standen kostenlose Snacks und Kaffee bereit, was für uns nach der Ankunft ein herzliches Willkommen bedeutete und sofort ein Gefühl von Zuhause vermittelt hat. Ein weiteres Juwel der Unterkunft ist die wunderschöne Veranda mit Blick auf den Ortskern von Amalfi. Morgens den ersten Kaffee mit Blick auf die charmanten Gassen und die sanften Geräusche der Stadt zu genießen, war für uns ein tägliches Highlight. Nicht zuletzt möchten wir die außerordentliche Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber betonen. Vom ersten Kontakt bis zur Abreise haben wir uns rundum willkommen gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war herzlich, aufmerksam und unkompliziert – man merkt sofort, dass hier mit echter Hingabe und Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Fazit: Wer eine stilvolle, perfekt ausgestattete und ruhig gelegene Unterkunft in Amalfi sucht, wird mit der Casa di Sam eine absolute Traumunterkunft finden.

The hosts were so kind. Vincenzo was especially helpful providing us with details for everything from using the apartment, bus routes, restaurant recommendation and more. The place was absolutely beautiful, perfectly clean and tidy. It was easy to get the bus down to amalfi and so cheap. Also the local bar’s & restaurant were welcoming and had delicious food. The view from the house was absolutely postcard perfect. We had to pinch ourselves every morning. All of the facilities and the welcome basket were very very much appreciated. This was the best place we stayed in while we travelled italy this summer. Thank you so much for having us!!

Everything was good about the property, location might be a bit far from Amalfi

We loved the quiet quaint village away from busy amalfi. The house was exceptionally comfortable and clean and our host Ivan and Silvana were super helpful and even offered us a lift into amalfi! They went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. We would love to come back and rent the house for a longer period! Gerry’s pub must also get a mention - we ate there every night! Delicious food and hospitality.

Everything about this place was perfect; the house is beautifully decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The view is simply breathtaking, and the warm, welcoming hosts made us feel right at home. We were greeted with thoughtful goodies in the fridge and on the kitchen table, which was such a lovely touch. The village is quiet, full of charm, and offers a peaceful escape from the crowds. Ivan, the hosts’ son, was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed for a perfect stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the house had everything we could possibly need. Dining outside on the exceptional terrace with its spectacular view was truly memorable.

The bus situation was a big of a drag because it takes time to wait for buses and then getting to amalfi is like 20 minutes and positano is 40. The only way to get around is by bus or scooters because parking is terrible! If you have commuting stay closer to the coast because this is all the way up the mountain!
