Great personal touch, clean, cosy place and flexible. Amazing experience.

The property was well situated with beautiful views and everything we could have hoped for was catered for and more. The hosts were very attentive as needed, they were easy to get in contact with on the lead up to the trip and throughout the stay. They provided very helpful recommendations for activities during our holiday, in particular, the cookery class was amazing and we have very special memories of it.

We absolutely loved our stay in La Casa Di Sam. The hosts had left us a whole lot of snacks and treats which were most welcome. They met us at the location and helped with luggage up the stairs which was very kind. We had a quick video chat with Ivan who explained a few things about the property and local area. What I had not realized, was how lovely it was to finish a very busy day in Amalfi and come home to this beautiful quiet village of Pogerla, relax on the terrace and take in that stunning Italian view. The village is quiet, with gentle sounds of life. Its a lovely atmosphere, vibe and a lovely contrast to the tourist commotion. The apartment is clean and very tastefully renovated. Fully stocked kitchen with great appliances. Nothing to complain about at all. We stayed with two teenagers and we were fine. There are a lot of steps up to the house, we were fine with this but if you had any kind of mobility issue it may be not suitable. The hosts recommended great eating in the village, and it was SUPERB. Very good restaurants, and for tickets for the bus (which is easy as ) or any ferry tickets, day trips etc, go see Gerry at Gerry's pub! He knows everything!! He got us tickets for a day trip to Capri and it was one of our favorites. The lady in the little Pogerola grocery store was lovely too. Bussing down to Amalfi was very easy. Its only about 15mins but the traffic will vary that time. You can't walk it. The road is too dangerous and busy. There is a stop right at the property. Many thanks to Ivan and his family, they were always there to help. The driving company they helped arrange for us to get to and from were very good and would recommend. All in all, we just want to be back and will always have the best memories of La Casa Di Sam and Pogerola.

Great place! The hosts made sure guests had everything needed for a comfortable stay. They even prepared some snacks as a welcome gift and made sure the house had all the basics for laundry and cooking, which was a lovely touch. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about their guests. The house is freshly renovated and very clean. One thing to keep in mind is that the accommodation is located on a mountain—walking to the center of Amalfi or the beach is nearly impossible. The bus runs about once an hour, so it’s better to plan your trip by car if you want to stay mobile, although parking in Amalfi can be challenging.

Cozy modern and beautiful home, we saw rainbow on the window and enjoyed sunrise! Big welcome from host, provide us fresh lemon, tea, coffee and some snake. Easy to cook self some food. Free parking and 5 mins walk to house.

There are some stairs no lift, but host Ivan helped us to carry heavy luggage, thanks!

The apartman is very nice, clean and comfortable. If you want to cook , don't worry about that.. there is everything what you need. If you want to have your breakfast outside you can. There is washing machine, microvave, coffee machine, dishwasher, cleaning stuff, everything. And the welcoming snacks and drinks was super good😘 You can take the Sita bus , it will stop close to the house. I very aprepriate Ivan's help. He is a gentleman, he was always ready to help for us, answer any quesions. We got 2 hours complementary upgrate. The view it's like on the pictures..😍 Amazing. Amalfi 15 minutes by bus but everything is close and the transport is very good. I recommend this apartman who likes calm, nice , amazing places. 🤗 Pogerola is also very beautiful, people are nice and kind. Thank you for everything, we'll definitely come back.

The unit was super clean, and very modern, the unit had everything you need, our hosts were very friendly and super helpful, they kept us a parking spot in the free parking which was very nice of them as it’s hard to find parking in Amalfi, we enjoyed every moment spent here we would recommend it to anyone

Nothing it was perfect

The hosts were absolutely lovely, so kind and helpful. The property is in a quiet location, and has beautiful views. The rooms are comfortable, clean and very well equipped with lots of helpful extras. There was a good welcome pack on arrival with all the necessities needed such as milk and juice.

It's difficult to say what could have been better as it was so good throughout our stay. There are a lot of steps to reach La Casa di Sam, so you need to be fairly fit to get to and from the road, but its a good way to keep active!
