LA CASA DI SAM

We had an incredible stay at La Casa di Sam. The house is beautifully decorated, the rooms and outdoor area have a stunning view to the Amalfi Coast. It is located in a peaceful area which is well connected to Amalfi centre via bus. The hosts are so lovely and have been amazing at making us feel at home. They are great at communication and promptly answered any questions we had. Silvana was so kind to leave us a parting gift on our last day. I absolutely recommend La Casa di Sam to anyone who is planning to visit the Amalfi Coast.

It was a perfect stay!

We loved absolutely everything. Each detail is carefully thought to make sure you feel comfortable like home. The view is just amazing and hosts are one of the best I've ever had, they welcomed us with food and drinks and make sure we knew each detail. The place is comfy but so spacious. And well... Italy is just Italy, to will absolutely love it.

The property is in really good shape, everything is new. Very, very clean and smelled fresh. It had all we needed for the stay, check in process was easy! We went with our 3 kids and we really enjoyed it. The view was amazing! Ivan and his father are really nice! Would stay here again!

Nice apartment, everything there, heating and warm water worked perfect as we stayed there in February - best time to explore the Amalficoast without crowds. Pogerola is a nice little village with a small alimentari where you get everything you need, nice people and beside steps also a regular bus to Amalfi, so a car isn't necessary. You can also hike directly from Pogerola to a lot of places. We had a really good time - thanks to Silvana & her family!

The property was super-clean & v well-appointed, with lots of snacks & a big bowl of grapes left for us in the fridge. It had a great view over the surrounding countryside although the sea view mentioned on the website was only really visible from a window in the living room. Rino, otherwise known as Gerry, was extremely friendly & helpful & appeared to work all the hours God sends, both in the Bar & arranging taxis & taking us up to the property. If he's not the Mayor of Pogerola he should be!

As others have said it should be made clear that there are a number of steps up to the property -- it's not for the infirm or v elderly (I'm just....elderly!). Also if you're booking two bedrooms you need to make this super-clear -- I thought I had done but when we arrived Rino asked if a double bed was OK which it emphatically was not & we had to hang around for a good hour or more while someone went up to the house & sorted out the pull-down bed in the living room. It would also be good if a power point could somehow be chased over that side of the room so the person in the bed had a lamp to read by.

Beautiful property nicely appointed. Great views, laundry facilities and two Lovely patios. Parking a bit problematic but you need a car to access the village. Although there is a bus from Amalfi.

While the views were great the property is up 85 steps. Very difficult to lug your bags to the house.

This Apartment was absolutely gorgeous, beautifully renovated, it has amazing views of the amalfi coast, it is really well stocked especially in the kitchen and the bathroom. The host Rino was soo nice and helpful, he organised us a very well priced transfer from Sorrento, and also organised mopeds that were dropped at the apartment steps. The village is a lil out of amalfi but the bus stop is at the bottom of the steps and goes quite regularly. This has been our favorite accommodation on our europe trip and if we ever come back to amalfi we would try and stay here again

I had a wonderful over all experience and i highly recommend. Everyone was so nice and made me feel very comfortable. Any questions or special accommodations that was requested, was all answered in a timely manner and executed very well.
