伝心庵 Garden Villa Denshin-An

Ein wunderschönes Haus, in dem Japan authentisch erlebt werden kann. Auch der Garten ist eine Augenweide und die Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend. Wir können dieses Haus sehr empfehlen.

Das Haus liegt in einem Wohnquartier, es ist schön ruhig, aber an manchen Abenden hatten wir Mühe, ein offenes Restaurant in der Nähe zu finden.

Our host, Yu, was responsive and made this stay as lovely as possible for us. He helped us ship our luggage and the home was kept in pristine condition before and during our stay. We let him know when we left the home for the day and during that time it was cleaned for us. We really enjoyed the beauty of the property. The home was a short walking distance from a temple which had late blooming cherry blossoms, so we were able to see the last cherry blossoms in mid April!

The location was a bit far from most of the restaurants, bars, and cafes that came up for us online, but we reached our destinations with a reasonable bus or taxi ride- so it wasn't too bad. The serenity was worth the distance.

Garden Villa Denshin An is a place of serenity, thoughtfully designed with lots of attention to details. Yu and the staff were genuine, kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start. I’d definitely recommend to get dinner and the japanese breakfast at least once!

Denshin-An is remarkable in so many ways. The location is perfect for sightseeing but it is also a destination in itself. The villa’s historical elements have been carefully preserved with all the modern comforts and conveniences added in seamlessly. The garden views are breathtaking and the whole place is very peaceful. Everything about it feels intentional with high quality and thoughtful touches throughout. We received some of the best hospitality we’ve ever had with many personalized recommendations from the host that made our visit extraordinary.

The host, who greeted us were very polite and helpful. Yu was very kind and thorough when he was showing us the property and its facilities. He even assisted in booking some restaurants and had good recommendations for other things to do and see. The property was beautiful and extremely clean. They even cleaned it halfway through our stay which was very much appreciated. The beds were very comfortable, and the soaker tub was also a nice amenity after a long day of walking in Kyoto. The bicycles were also a great convenience to have.
