It was very authentic place to stay! If you want to immerse yourself into traditional country living - that's where you need to stay for sure! All appliances was provided and it was very close to Magoo's breakfast cafe. We liked both location and the place itself. Recommend to everyone if you are in Alpine.

It was a bit cold in March but AC settled the issue.

The house was laid out in a very efficient way. We used each of the rooms and were very comfortable in all the spaces We were a little concerned it was on a main street but from inside it was very quiet and main street Alpine is not a freeway. The house did a great job of keeping the temperature consistent over the whole house. These are maybe odd things to bring up but that is what I noticed about staying there

We didn’t spend time outside so I can’t really comment about the experience, but noticed there wasn’t grass out there. I don’t think this is a negative, just a comment about West Texas. And probably something we will all need to consider in the future to save water.

Excellent location and very cute decor

There's parking. And a yard. And it's in town (just). And it's clean and well-equipped. Access is easy. It's fairly comfy. Things work.

The faux rustic vibe does not work. It's actually a modern house opposite the gas station on one side and on the main road through town on the other that's been given a rather jarring country ranch makeover. It's far, far (far) gloomier in real life than the photos make out, HDR can be like magic can't it?

We liked everything
