"Cosy but too noisy"

We liked all the supplies that were available in the house and the decorations made it cosy. The garden is definetely a plus.

The noise during the night (cars, gas station, train) was something that really bothered us. We barely slept during our 2 nights in the house.

Very nicely appointed. Easy access to main street. Very comfortable for a multiple day stay. We really enjoyed using it as a base camp to enjoy day trips around the area. Very comfortable. Great communication with host. Highly recommended

The house is conveniently-located in central Alpine, with easy walking to the museum, downtown, and some excellent eateries. We especially loved the local bakery, which makes world-class bread and pastries, as well as the attached meat market, which makes outstanding beef brisket and modern takes on traditional sides. Both places are, remarkably, dog-friendly, which is most helpful in the west Texas heat. The property itself was dog-friendly, even providing poop bags and a bin in the back yard. The house itself was comfortable for us two and our dog. It had amusing west Texas decorations, including an armadillo basket, the likes of which I hadn’t seen since I was a child in western Oklahoma.

The bed could have been more comfortable for two adults, but we did okay. The only provided news channels were right-wing, such as NewsMax, OAN, and FOX. SERIOUSLY?!?

Very clean, well decorated

Amity in bathroom to tall. Bed too firm. It rained and the back door would not lock from outside so had to lock it from the inside, go out the front and walk around to the parking space in the back.
