River Lodge Platinum Plus Holiday Home with River Views, Free Wifi & Netflix

It was a very nice caravan, in a nice location over looking the stream. Good facilities on site.

The weather

The lovely welcome pack was appreciated, handwash and bathroom mat. The view overlooking the field was lovely. The cabin is located very close to the venue, just a short walk. Shower pressure is good Kids enjoyed the game's box

The two bedrooms are very small and the toilet to the master bedroom only had a toilet, no shower. The main bathroom is very small, barely enough room to move around in I didn't like the fact that there are two security camera's on the cabin, it felt like our privacy was invaded. The manual explains that the camera is a requirement for the owners insurance, but no other cabin had them! The cabin lacks washing machine ( not big enough to accommodate one). We were only staying three day's so not a problem. We managed to get a parking space but when we went off site the parking space was gone, we managed to get another space further away but decided not to move the car as parking is an issue

The property was well maintained and modern, plenty of space for my family and the kids loved the extra touches with TVs in the rooms for chill out time.

Cameras outside I appreciate why they are there but had a big brother feel to it.

Everything was as advertised. Great location to Camber beach. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

Great location, new carpets

Kitchen very poorly equipped - no bowls or bigger dishes to cook with. Kitchen drawers and bathroom floor edges could have been cleaner. Sink bowl and drainer need replacing. No info about recycling

Fantastic location with great views of the fields, sunset and sunrise. Clean and giving more than any other caravan with a welcome pack. Lots of information to help with our stay.

Superb location countryside views and beautiful beach on doorstep. Relaxing quiet and lots of activities for children and lovely friendly staff. Property host excellent liaising and accommodation nice and clean.

Had a wonderful, peaceful time away. The caravan itself was clean, cosy, well maintained, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had all equipment needed to cook meals, the towels and bedding supplied, good wifi signal, fantastic shower. Was handy to have all the streaming services loaded on the tv to sign into (remember to sign out before you leave though, folks!) It felt very homely with all the little decorative touches and is clearly cared for. I had chosen this place particularly for the view and I was not disappointed! I absolutely loved sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings watching the wildlife, listening to the birds, looking at the stars. Was incredibly quiet which was perfect for me, but I assume that's because it was not high season on the park. I can't speak for what it might be like in the height of summer however the caravan was tucked away a little so may still be peaceful even then. There was a cute little welcome box with tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets (and some yummy cookies!) which was much appreciated as I hadn't thought to bring any with me. There was also a very informative folder with details about the caravan and local area. Communication before I came was very thorough too. As for the park itself, I didn't use any of the facilities other than once popping into the convenience store on site, seemed well stocked though slightly over priced but that's to be expected in a holiday park. I could go on, but suffice to say I would not hesistate to book River Lodge again, was perfect, thank you!

I come here every year, the property is well situated and cleaned to high standard. The supply of cooking equipment is great and makes it very easy to self cater during the stay. Also a very small walk to the beautiful beach.
