Could be better signed. But great upside down house. Great view.

Property was fantastic... good layout ( however needs a bit of colour )bathroom was great however hot water was hit and miss. Property had some great views... but had a small tight driveway ... Overall was great 👍 would defo recommend and it was great having our own privacy compared a hotel. Loved it thank you so much

Elerkin was ideally situated for our visit to Durham and to visiti family in Newcastle. Great views from the house and good places to walk our dog. Bed was really comfortable. Peaceful and quiet. The Cross Keys pub food was excellent and only a two minute walk away.

No shop in village of Esh but the local village of Langley Park was 5 minutes away with all amenities you may require.

Peaceful place to stay with magnificent views from the lounge on the first floor.

Was a little cold until the heating kicked in late at night.

The location is set in a lovely little village a little way out but was nice for what we wanted. And perfect for us to see the northern lights while their . Beds were comfortable. 90% clean. It felt really homely. Nice touches were it had milk and tea coffee and sugar and packet of busicit. Aswell as washing up products. Fully equipped kitchen I would happily stay a week.

The ceilings needed a better clean cobwebs and the bathroom a deeper clean.

No garden area

The view was excellent as was the style of decor.

The house needs a deep clean, especially in the corners , furniture a bit grubby. No materials available if you have a spill to clean up, just a mop. Toilet area smelled, no air freshener. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
