"Lovely place to stay - would happily stay here again"

Loved the view over the valley from the upstairs lounge. The super-king sized bed was very comfortable.

Front door was difficult to open and shut. Broken window in kitchen and general wear and tear on furniture. Central heating wouldn't operate on the last night, but alternative electric heaters were available.

"Really nice air bnb"

Very clean, tidy, light and the view from the living room was fantastic. Bed extremely comfortable, shower, probably the best I've had. All shops and amenities close by. I'd very much like to stay again.

No complaints at all.

Location was great for walking, very peaceful & the views were outstanding. Beds very comfortable. Zzzzz!

The sofa was a bit tired & not very comfortable & a pair of scissors & some egg cups would have been good!

Lovely, clean and homely accommodation. We had everything we needed. Lovely view, comfy beds and excellent value for money

There's nothing we didn't like but we had a toddler so a stair gate would have been a massive help for us Other than that, we had a great weekend

The location was really good, explored Beamish and used the Durham park and ride which is only 10 minutes away

"Perfect stay for a few days away from home"

The view was excellent across the valley. Local pub was a revelation especially on quiz night. Nive local walks around the village of Esh

Weather can be challenging on that hillside
